The ex-post evaluation of the Karelia CBC Programme has been finalised. According to the evaluation the Programme has clearly resulted in positive development in the programme area.
Concrete results can be noticed particularly in priorities related to culture and environment. Results are, for example, development of cultural tourism as well as raising schoolchildren's awareness of environmental and energy efficiency, and development of forest fire risk mapping. The priority related to business, in other hand, has suffered the most from the changing geopolitical situation.
